The Perkins Township Board of Trustees and Perkins Park Board are committed to providing safe and enjoyable recreation within the sixty-six acres of township-owned parks. Many of these parks are small play-parks situated within neighborhoods throughout our community. The Township has placed a high priority on parks the last several years through improvements and needed updates to meet the needs of our community.
Safety of our park users is taken very seriously. Yearly inspections are conducted by Mr. Brian Kuns, a township employee and Certified Playground Safety Inspector through the National Playground Safety Institute. These inspections identify existing and potential concerns allowing the township to proactively address issues.
